The GECKO EV48 imported by e-auto delivers 6.2 km/kWh certified by the 3CV, certificate C.H. 6940, homologated September 2, 2024. The record is filed under E-Auto S.P.A. in the Registry of Homologated Light and Medium Vehicles kept by Chile's Undersecretariat of Transport, cutoff July 13, 2026. Anyone can verify it with no paperwork or application.

The 1,400 kg threshold isn't chosen to fit the result: the GECKO EV48 leads this cut at any payload threshold between 1,261 kg and 1,425 kg. That's a range of 164 kg, not a single point.
The last column above is the one that translates the figure into operations: how much energy it takes to move one tonne of payload one hundred kilometers. The GECKO EV48 needs 11.3 kWh. The Maxus e Deliver 3 needs between 23.5 and 29.4 kWh depending on version, and the DFSK EC35 needs 24.0 kWh. All three figures come from dividing certified consumption by each vehicle's homologated payload in the same registry.

This section exists because a comparison that wins on every column isn't a comparison. The four points below come from the same registry as everything above.
A registry entry e-auto flags as doubtful, even though it would favor us to leave it alone. The Karry Surfer EV7 is listed at 9.0 km/kWh with a 53.6 kWh battery, which would imply 482 km of range on a three-tonne van. The manufacturer publishes around 285 km for that model. e-auto believes the registry figure likely contains an error and will query the 3CV about it. Until there's a response, the row stays published exactly as it appears in the official registry: correcting a competitor's number downward without the body's confirmation is precisely what this page exists not to do.
Certificate C.H. 6940 attests to the energy performance and declared technical characteristics of the vehicle in the homologation process. It is not a safety certification, a durability certification, or a guarantee of on-road consumption. Any vehicle's real-world consumption depends on load, route, temperature, climate-control use, and driving style, and in loaded urban operation tends to run below the homologation figure, for electric and diesel vehicles alike.
The cargo-volume (6.7 m³) and range (305 km on the CLTC cycle) figures that appear on the EV48's commercial spec sheet do not come from the Chilean registry: the registry doesn't record either field. They are manufacturer-declared figures and are labeled as such on the product page. CLTC is China's homologation standard and runs optimistic against real-world Chilean use.
If you're a journalist, researcher, or buyer who wants to use these figures, the correct citation isn't e-auto: it's the source.
